1. Service description
PhotoCAD is an AI-powered tool that converts photos and raster images into manufacturing-ready vector files (DXF, SVG, PDF). By using PhotoCAD, you agree to these terms.
2. Account and credits
You must create an account to download vector files. Upon signup, you receive 1 free conversion credit. Additional credits can be purchased individually or via subscription. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. Subscription credits expire according to the rollover period of your plan.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to make bulk conversions without authorization
- Upload images you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the AI models or vectorization algorithms
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Resell access to the service or share account credentials
4. Intellectual property — your uploads
You retain all rights to the images you upload. By uploading an image, you grant PhotoCAD a limited license to process it through our AI pipeline for the purpose of generating your vector conversion. We do not claim ownership of your uploads or outputs.
5. Intellectual property — your outputs
Vector files generated from your own uploads are yours to keep and use. The scope of commercial use depends on your plan: Free and Pay-As-You-Go users may use outputs for personal projects only. Hobby subscribers may use outputs for individual commercial use (selling your own creations). Pro, Business and Enterprise subscribers have full unrestricted commercial use rights. Regardless of plan, you may not resell or redistribute the raw digital vector files themselves. You may sell physical products made from the files.
6. Gallery content
Vector files available in the PhotoCAD gallery are 100% free for personal and commercial use. No attribution is required. You may sell unlimited physical products made from gallery files. You may not resell, share or redistribute the digital files themselves. See our usage rights page for full details.
7. AI output disclaimer
PhotoCAD uses AI to interpret images and generate vector drawings. While we strive for high-quality output, AI-generated results may not always match your expectations. We recommend reviewing the preview before using a credit. We are not liable for any manufacturing defects, material waste or damage resulting from the use of files generated by PhotoCAD.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep PhotoCAD available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Purchased credits will be honored or refunded if the service is discontinued.
9. Limitation of liability
PhotoCAD is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
